Coffee jelly

Coffee jelly is a delicious and refreshing dessert that combines the rich, bold flavor of coffee with the smooth texture of gelatin. It’s perfect for coffee lovers and easy to make at home. Here's a simple recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (500 ml) brewed strong coffee (hot)
  • 1/4 cup (50 g) sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons gelatin powder
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) cold water
  • Whipped cream or sweetened condensed milk for topping (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the gelatin: In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over the cold water. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes to soften.

  2. Sweeten the coffee: While the gelatin softens, add sugar to the hot coffee and stir until the sugar dissolves completely. You can adjust the amount of sugar depending on how sweet you want the jelly.

  3. Dissolve the gelatin: Add the softened gelatin to the hot, sweetened coffee, stirring until the gelatin is completely dissolved (about 2-3 minutes).

  4. Pour into molds: Remove the coffee mixture from the heat and pour it into a shallow dish or individual serving cups.

  5. Chill: Let the jelly cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until the jelly is set.

  6. Serve: Once set, cut the coffee jelly into cubes or unmold it from the dish. Serve with whipped cream or drizzle with sweetened condensed milk for a creamy contrast.

This dessert is great on its own or as a fun topping for drinks or other sweets!
